Crescent blends the ever popular Shiraz with the more exotic Mourvèdre and Grenache varieties to achieve a rich yet elegant style. Aromas of mulberry, apple skin and fruit cake combine before sumptuous tannins underpin a medium-weighted palate complex fruit cake flavours.
The blend takes its name from the ‘Crescent’ shaped sandbar which is home to Mitchelton Estate’s oldest shiraz vines.
