2018 Heathcote Collection Shiraz (cork closure)
WINE PROFILE
The origins of Mitchelton date back to first vine plantings in 1969 and has since become a well-known destination in Central Victoria, symbolised by the iconic Ashton Tower standing proud at 55 metres.
Dark Crimson red with bright purple hues. Lifted aromas of fresh mulberries, blackberries and dark plums along with aromatic French oak influence. A palate revealing complex layers of blood plum, blackberry, liquorice along with dark chocolate and exotic oak spice characters. Soft and supple fruit tannins are partnered with structured fine grained French oak, adding palate length and balance to the deep core of concentrated fruit.
