2019 The Bend Cabernet Sauvignon

WINE PROFILE

Water doesn’t flow naturally in a straight line. It meanders and sways following the topography of the land. Mitchelton resides on one such curve. A place affectionately dubbed: The Bend. An idyllic spot where people congregate to eat, drink and play. Where rushing is a foreign concept, and the day takes you where it will.

Whether on our ground or your own, there’s always a time and a place for The Bend.

Tasting Note: Ripe blackberry and cassis fruit along with bay leaf notes are heightened by subtle oak and lifted spice characters. The palate unfolds in layers of intense blackberry, plum fruits with savoury characters and with fine oak influence. Fine, varietal and persistent tannins provide the framework for all these flavours. A wine with generosity on the palate and length of flavour.
