2019 The Bend Rosé

WINE PROFILE

Water doesn’t flow naturally in a straight line. It meanders and sways following the topography of the land. Mitchelton resides on one such curve. A place affectionately dubbed: The Bend. An idyllic spot where people congregate to eat, drink and play. Where rushing is a foreign concept, and the day takes you where it will.

Whether on our ground or your own, there’s always a time and a place for The Bend.

Tasting Note: Our Rosé has been crafted to reflect this expressive wine style while respecting the variety from which it is made. A fresh, textural and dry Rosé using Sangiovese as the canvas. Watermelon in colour with hints of pink. A vibrant nose offers up raspberries, tangerine and rose petal with an underlying exotic spice. Intense flavours of sweet cherry, raspberries and pomegranate are interlocked with red currants and finishes with a hint of pink peppercorn. The palate extends to a dry, persistent finish.
