Since its establishment in 1969, Mitchelton is focused on crafting wines that have distinct character, allure and speak clearly of its origin. Our goal is to provide a precise translation, while capturing the essence in every bottle. This wine forms part of the Mitchelton ‘Heathcote Luxury’ program. This program allows us to explore the subtle nuances of our Estate vineyard in Heathcote, and gain a deeper understanding of its unique and expressive personality of the region and variety.

Colour: Deep red.

Nose: Rich aromas showing dark plum and black currant complemented by soft vanilla oak notes giving depth and complexity.

Palate: A luscious full palate balances dark fruit and oak flavours with soft, structural tannins. Displaying richness and power, the full bodied wine is a great example of what the Heathcote Region can achieve. This Shiraz will pair wonderfully with BBQ and red meat dishes or as a stand alone wine.

Cellaring: Will age gracefully over the next 10 years with careful cellaring.
