2017 Mitchelton Estate Airstrip
WINE PROFILE
Pale straw in colour with green hues. Inviting aromas of white peach, nectarine and orange blossom draw the taster in while hints of almonds with spicy oak high not. The palate is a showcase of rich, silky texture combined with flavours of stone fruits and quince. All of this is neatly bound together with complex spice and underlying minerality, with a long and persistent finish.
The wine is named after the source block on the estate which was once a landing area for light aircraft.
