Water doesn’t flow naturally in a straight line. It meanders and sways following the topography of the land. Mitchelton resides on one such curve. A place affectionately dubbed: The Bend. An idyllic spot where people congregate to eat, drink and play. Where rushing is a foreign concept, and the day takes you where it will.
Whether on our ground or your own, there’s always a time and a place for The Bend.
Tasting Note: Pale straw with green hues. The fruit aromatics display peach and citrus along with tropical notes and sweet spice influence. The wine has a savoury edge with a palate that is fine and balanced with biscuit characters working beautifully with zingy citrus, fresh mango and nectarine flavours. A refreshing, bright acidity gives this wine lovely length and the finish is savoury and textural.
